This event is ending soon! Last chance to secure tickets!

Join Dr Joel Klein, Curator of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences, at The Huntington for this special guided tour of the history of medicine section of their fantastic Beautiful Science exhibition.

Beautiful Science: Ideas that Changed the World illustrates the wildly different and sometimes extreme ways the body has been represented. It charts physical experiences from birth to death and traces the development of new techniques for understanding and treating diverse medical conditions.

The Huntington Library is one of the world’s great independent research libraries with ever-expanding holdings related to the history of medicine. This includes the 2016 acquisition of one of the world’s most comprehensive collections on the history of human reproduction.
