One of our core objectives is to inspire the doctors and healthcare professionals of tomorrow, particularly those from underrepresented communities. We’re supporting schools and community groups to bring children and young adults in contact with medicine through visits to healthcare organizations as well as bringing expert speakers, workshops and learning materials to them.
We’re supporting budding entrepreneurs, start-ups and scale-ups through our festival showcases, pitch events and public engagement activities. Through our intra and intercity networks we aim to support disruption in medicine and healthcare.
We believe film is a great medium to help get the public immersed in medicine. We’re showcasing some of the best international feature and short films in each MED city, often complemented by talks or interactive activities, with a focus on the MED theme for that year.
